Search Star was established in 2005 by Dan Fallon. Over the last 5 years we have grown to a small but perfectly formed team of 3 client managers (Nettie Wells, Neil Morse & Gordon Ho) plus an admin and finance team of 1.

Dan started working in advertising in 1992 after graduating from Warwick University where he studied economics. He gained the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma in 1993. From 1993 to 2005 Dan worked in media agencies (MediaCom, Manning Gottlieb OMD and The Response Team) starting as a Graduate Planner/Buyer & finishing as Media Director.

Dan first bought advertising from Google (pre-AdWords) in 2002. He then saw search’s potential versus other forms of advertising and began to focus his career and client budgets exclusively into Search Marketing. In January 2005 Dan became one of the first people in the UK to qualify as a Google Advertising Professional and set up Search Star Ltd. Since then he's been working towards a flat stomach.

Nettie has been with Search Star since 2007. Before that she worked for 10 years as an account manager in the automotive industry. She studied Modern Languages at Bristol University and is fluent in French and German. She swears more than the rest of us put together but is also the office spelling and syntax expert (very useful when writing ad copy). She has recently become addicted to Pacman.

Gordon graduated from the University of Bath in Aerospace Engineering in 2009. He then went on to work at an engineering firm for 8 months producing automated control systems. However his passion for building and promoting websites has since resulted in him joining Search Star. Gordon's also fluent in Cantonese but can't even translate a Chinese menu.

Neil is the latest addition to the team, bringing experience in online sales and distribution from his work with Digital Frames Direct Ltd. He graduated in Psychology from the University of Warwick in July 2009 and has an ethusiasm for e-commerce and marketing which led him to Search Star. In his spare time Neil can regularly be found on the driving range striving for that perfect swing.
