SearchStar has been shortlisted for a fabulous four awards at the first ever Google Premier Partner Awards. These awards are run and judged by Google for all Premier Partner agencies across EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). There are only eight categories... Being up for four of them including the biggie Outstanding Premier Partner Performance Award 2016 is magnificent! There is a bit of macho fist pumping going on at SearchStar towers in Bath.
The award winners are being announced at a black tie dinner at Dublin's Mansion House on 5th December. Over 90 agencies are going from as far afield as South Africa, Turkey and Russia. SearchStar is up for the Search Performance Award 2016, the Mobile Performance Award 2016, the Shopping Performance Award 2016 and the aforementioned biggie Outstanding Premier Partner Performance Award 2016!
SearchStar has being going 11 years and we've grown by developing and retaining a super-talented team that delivers great work for happy clients. We've never really done awards. However, Google's announcement that they were going to run a proper awards programme got our blood pumping. A set of submissions was lovingly crafted by our fabulous Strategy Director, Ed Culliford, and we crossed our fingers that we'd get onto a shortlist or two. Yesterday evening we got the news we were up for four!
Just getting onto the shortlist is a chunky achievement as there are a lot of talented clever agencies out there, and no agency is up for more awards than SearchStar. We've now got to come back from Dublin with some bling!
