SearchStar have been around since 2005, but we’re still growing strong. Right now, we have 45 digital media superstars working in our offices in central Bath, but we’re always on the lookout for new talent.

The Conversion & Analytics team at SearchStar provides consultative services to help clients improve their websites and the Project Executive is a new grad/trainee-level role, created within our growing team.
As Project Executive, you'll be involved with a wide variety of tasks, including giving advice about improvements to Landing Pages and assisting with in-depth reviews of entire websites. You'll work with the whole of the Conversion & Analytics team to help deliver their projects, as well as the wider agency so you can identify opportunities for Conversion projects. Once you've got to grips with the role, you'll be speaking to clients, and their web development teams, to help explain our recommendations. Additionally, a core part of this role will be to manage all projects within the team, ensuring priorities are established and deadlines are hit. In return, we'll provide you with the support and training to become a Conversion Consultant.
We're looking for someone who's tenacious, organised, confident, self-reliant and has an interest in websites and digital marketing. In an ideal world, you'll also know your way around uncovering insight from data and have your own thoughts about what makes a great website.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Managing team projects/tasks
- Managing team priorities
- Team admin (Invoicing/budgeting/timeplans etc)
- Conducting landing page reviews
- Examining Google Analytics reports
- Working with the marketing team to help sell our services
- Producing basic wireframes
- Setting up basic A/B tests
- Writing relevant blog posts
Your immediate priority will be to help the team keep on track with tasks/projects. This will help the team to continue growing and achieve revenue targets while also delivering outstanding service to clients. Once you're working directly with clients, you'll be given individual revenue targets and there will be an opportunity to train to become a Conversion Consultant at SearchStar.
Beyond this you will seek other areas in the business where you can add value, help other team members and improve results for clients.

Graduate Trainee Account Executives
Throughout the year we look for bright trainee Account Execs who want to develop their careers in digital marketing. We offer a full training programme so you don’t need prior experience just masses of enthusiasm and a hunger for knowledge. We are demanding in who we hire but pay our team well & typically start graduates on £18k with rapid salary & career progression.
We're not looking for any Execs right now, but if you'd like to send your CV through, we'll happily keep it on file until our next round of recruitment.
PPC Account Manager
As an Account Manager you will plan & execute client media buying across Google, Facebook, Yahoo/Bing, Twitter, LinkedIn and Doubleclick Bid Manager (DSP). You should have strong knowledge of (at least) AdWords – we’ll teach you the rest.
